Organizations and Involvement
As a collegian, Miranda had active involvement in a wide range of organizations at New Mexico State University, from the Delta Gamma sorority to a fellowship with the NSMU Athletic Director, and a 4-year internship with the university's Athletic Marketing Department. While in school and to this day, Miranda makes it a priority to stay devoted to her personal faith and maintain active involvement in her ministry.
Miranda’s personal passion for giving back has shaped the person she proves to be in the workplace. The National Organ Donation and Transplantation Foundation holds a special place in her heart, after her father underwent a liver transplant in 2021. The CARE Cancer Association is another organization that speaks to Miranda, having many family members, including a grandmother, who passed away with Pancreatic Cancer. American Diabetes Organization is highly advocated by Miranda after her grandfather experienced LLA (Lower Limb Amputation) from the condition. From her faith to making a difference in her community, Miranda strives to be well-rounded, both in and out of the workplace.
Miranda graduated proudly as a 4-year member of the Delta Gamma Eta Lambda chapter, where she served as President, VP Programming, and Director of Primary Recruitment. Miranda attributes the leadership skills she possesses today to all her involvement throughout her undergraduate years. Miranda served as VP Internal Recruitment and VP Programming for NMSU’s National Panhellenic Council. In Fall of 2023, Miranda was responsible for organizing NMSU sorority recruitment for all the campus Greek life and helped facilitate over 600 collegians (PNM’s and members).

Under her leadership, the Delta Gamma chapter at NSMU walked away proudly from the Spring 2024 Greek Excellence awards, earning 8-chapter awards and the highest distinguishing honor of the President’s Cup. Receiving 1st place in Member Education and Development, Most Improved Chapter, Top Leading Chapter of 2024, Chapter Management and Retention, Community Service hours, and Philanthropic Donations, Academic, Philanthropic Affairs, Campus Involvement and Leadership, Social Responsibility, Civility, and Values, and Outstanding Alumnae. During her term, the chapter exceeded $16,000 in philanthropic donations, all supporting the Service Sight Foundation. At Greek Excellence 2024, Miranda was honored to receive NMSU All Greek Women, Chapter President of the Year, and Chapter Leader of the Year, with being awarded All Greek Women of the Year in 2025.
